This has been a growing issue for the last few weeks and was easily seen during the House being out of session for over 50 days as MTG started appearing on shows that well you wouldn't expect her to be on like "The View." When Republican's were in the minority she thrived at being able to start stuff and cause issues for the majority party but since Republicans have come into power she has lost most of her sway.
I am not sure anyone is surprised by her fallout with the President because as President Trump has to deal with countries and issues outside the US. She has taken this as not being America First when the opposite is true. The President has been able to sign trade deals and peace deals that will dramatically benefit America and the American people. For better or worse we have allies and obligations that if a crazy war broke out we would be drawn into. Trump is trying to starve those off and play peace maker then leveraging that to help drive the American economy.
I can see why she has some of the issues she has at face value but the critical thing she is ignoring is what happens if things continue to spiral. A prime example is if Russia strikes NATO countries sure in theory we could completely ignore the war however the economic impact of that would be catastrophic. Right now weapons production is bringing a lot of very high paying manufacturing jobs to the US so to shy away from international issues would be to hurt those companies.
I dont agree with everything the President does but I think he is trying to tackle 4 years of America not looking good on the international stage. Especially the last two years Biden did not help how people look at the US and Trump has moved to fix that and to do so has to engage and has to visit.
Inflation and the economy wasnt going to be fixed with a sudden swipe of the pen and Americans are learning that now. However, the groundwork is being laid to help reduce prices and help tackle socioeconomic issues without the government getting their nose in everything.
