I disagree. He has smarter people like Rubio that are manipulating him. He doesn't know it. I seriously doubt he came up with this Venezuela war on the cartels. It smells like a Rubio idea.

No Rubio would have gone Cuban if anything. Trump tried to ramp up pressure and get rid of Maduro the first Admin as well and his cabinet is almost entirely different and he is still going after it.

I'm not making excuses. I just don't think Trump has ideas like this. His first admin wasn't full of the best people. People experienced in how DC works. Rubio and others are really moving him.
