And in Bitcoin Safe random bitcoin nodes are selected automatically. No configuration necessary.

Are you aware that some neutrino peers could ban its clients due to failed attempts / bad connection?
Some manual configuration will be necessary, for example if you want to connect to a friend node, that is closer than other random neutrino peer.

The CBF client is the bdk implementation https://github.com/2140-dev/kyoto and it works great. If one node disconnects, an other is chosen. I did lots of tests and it works great.
You can also add your own node as a peer https://bitcoin-safe.org/en/knowledge/compact-block-filters/#technical-details
