I wanted to use this post to introduce myself to this amazing community.

I fell in the crypto rabbit hole in May 2021 buying my first chunk of BTC. I unfortunately felt FOMO buying XRP, LTC and ETH.

Digging myself further in the crypto universe, I built a mining rig and mined several coins for about a year and a half. I got rekt by Celsius, rugged with NFTs and other alts.

Like in every bear market, I took the time to educate myself. I followed a blockchain architecture course and got in the technical aspect of blockchain technology.

Taking a step back made me realize how the cryptoverse was ruled by VC and that everybody was in it for themselves for a few bucks. DEX and Wallets have been popping left and right since the FTX scandal and most of them are ponzy scams.

I recently discovered the real world of Bitcoin and the Lightning Network and I am in love. I have consolidated my portfolio of "Shitcoin" into a store of value and I never looked back.

The only thing that i have kept from my Degen past life is my nickname "0xjogir" which starts with a "0x" in reference to a ERC wallet address.

I am amazed how the BTC community is friendly and collaborative. It is refreshing to see everyone working together for a common goal of mass adoption and for the first time I feel like i have finally found home.
