That was my first thought too. He's likely invested in these quantum companies and is incentivized to hype them up

Well, his wealth is likely tied up in sh$tcoins so he should be concerned what happens with Bitcoin.

I don't remember the exact details of it, but I think the reality is worse...I don't think it actually performed the factorization completely honestly....
