The U.S. dollar has steadily lost value over the past century. According to Federal Reserve data, the purchasing power of one dollar today is equal to just a few cents in 1913 (the year the Fed was created).

I sold a bunch of my silver coins recently and was shocked that my collection of change was worth almost a thousand bucks. It was only like $20 face value.

I didn't sell any that had collector value. I'm saving those for the kiddo.

Parece que esto pasa con todo el mundo, un dólar en tú país equivale a un paquete de gominolas, aquí a 100g de café, el viernes salí por un poco de ajo y ají 🫑 en este caso cachucha que así le decimos al pequeño, de todo lo que gaste solo me quedaron 50 pesos cubanos, mi madre estaba loca por comer un caramelo desgraciadamente no pude comprarle ya que me costaba 70 el 🍬, sí parece que la pandemia le cambió la vida a muchos en mi casa solía haber jarrones llenos de ellos y en ese entonces valía una caja con más de 1000 20 pesos 😲🤫
