It started off ugly but Buffalo got the job done. Here are My Three Takeaways:
-
DEFENSE! Finally they showed up in a big way. Rodgers looked cooked today missing easy throws holding on to the ball to long. The sack by Bosa almost sent him to the nursing home. The Steelers are a bad team. Buffalo was able to stop the run and the pass tonight. The only score the Steelers were able to muster came after a bad Buffalo fumble.
-
JAMES COOK! Once again he is the Bills offense. The only negative play he had was the fumble. It was nice to see Brady use Cook more in the passing game. Josh was actively looking for him and he made plays all over the field. It blows my mind the GM was balking on paying this guy. So far he is having an All-Pro type season. I know JT in Indy might take it from him but I am really happy with James Cook’s performance this season. The Bills as a whole had a great day running the ball.

The passing game is still struggling. Josh and a few bad balls tonight. That interception on the slant to Gabe Davis was his fault. That was a really poor throw. The only bright spot about the WRs was the great blocking by Shavers thats sprung Cook on few runs. It is sad to see the Bills passing game waste away with each and every game. But in their defense Dawkins the left tackle was out so it appears the gameplan was to run heavy to protect Josh from Watt.
Going into this game I thought Buffalo would lose for sure but solid defense and the running game got them the win on the road. This win is good but this is a bad Steelers team. The Bills are still far from proving they can be a worthy playoff contender with such a terrible passing attack. Next week we got Burrow and the Bengals. Will be a tough one for sure.
