30% of a zap is a sybil fee. It’s how we discourage self-zapping. This 30% is split between the rewards pool and the territory founder.

If you go to [satistics](/satistics) then click on a row that is a `zap receive` you can see all the components of a split.

We have our zap default set to 40, but only 28 sats actually leave our attached wallet when we zap a post. Sorry for the beginner question – just wondering what's happening here?
