Welcome to Books & Articles Weekly. It was a mediocre week. @denlillaapan noticed the meager competition, so he swooped in at the last minute and took top post honors. Good thing he did, too, or last week’s version of this post would have been number one. He also cracked the top five with a book review, which is worth checking out. @aljaz made the top five with a Wendell Berry poem. Otherwise, zaps and engagement were light for the second week in a row.
Thanks to everyone who contributed.
There is a zap award for the top 5 posts weekly. It will be broken down as follows:
  1. 1000 sats
  2. 250 sats
  3. 250 sats
  4. 250 sats
  5. 250 sats
Posts will be judged using SN zaprank. The cut off time is 9:00am EST (1300GMT) Saturday morning. I will post the top 5 winners shortly around 9:00am every Saturday morning.
I reserve the right to not award any sats for the week. I also reserve the right to deny sat awards to bare link posts. I recognize that link posts can be valuable, so I will only only exercise discretion for low quality links that garner few sats or engagement from stackers.
Happy reading!
As always, please reply with suggestions and opinions on how to make this territory better.

Siggy’s Suggestions

Like stillstackin, Stoppard’s plays were a big part of my college experience. It seems like he is no longer discussed much, which is a shame.
Another chapter from Atom. This is the stuff that makes our territory hum.
I love this perspective. Read this article, even if you don’t identify as a libertarian.

Excellent rounding up…. it’s been rather quiet for a good month now. Quality over quantity from Stackers perhaps.

Yes, it has been slow. How is everything with you?

All good here thanks - and it’s almost a perfect moment - cup of coffee, SN and a tired dog asleep at my feet.
reply
I have 2/3. The dogs have been locked inside too long and are releasing pent up energy.

They need wearing out! And how is the cat-hat?
Dog curls by the fire, Coffee steams in icy air, Winters respite welcome.
reply
Ah! It's been a while. The cat steers clear of one of the dogs, unless he wants to bait and harass her.

LOL! Yeah, I'm always a sucker for a good deal!
