There's this weird thing when watching F1 with other people. About a third to half of the time when I say something about the race (eg. "looks like XYZ's tyres are starting to fall off a cliff"), one of the commentators will repeat that exact thing about 10-20 seconds later. Often verbatim.

My family used to give me funny looks when I was watching as a kid. By now, my wife got so used to it, she just chuckles.
