In Venezuela, there is a tradition called the Christmas dinner, which is usually organized by the employees of a company, although in this case, it was a lunch, hahaha. The "dinner" was organized by my closest friends, who own several stores, and since we are all friends, we joined in one single celebration.
The place they chose for the celebration was an outdoor restaurant; it had a very beautiful Christmas decoration:
Something very cool about this place is that it also has many animals that are already used to humans and are friendly, you can touch all of them!
I was there with many of my friends, and obviously, I photographed all of them!
Usually, I don't appear in the photographs because I am the one taking them, but on this occasion, a friend who already knows how to use cameras had attended, so I asked him to take a couple of photographs of me, first with my girlfriend:
And then some photographs of me alone:
Time passed, and night fell. To my surprise, yesterday was also the day of the candle lighting tradition, and the restaurant had organized an event around it. In a few minutes, they handed out candles to everyone present, and people lit their little candles, making a wish or giving thanks for something that happened to them this year!
It was a moment that felt very beautiful and special:
I took all the photographs with my Canon R8 camera, a 24-105mm f/4 lens, and only natural light.
This was a very beautiful day where I had a great time with my friends, and I hope you liked the photographs as much as I did!
