not sure if that could be hidden, only the cowboy hat can be hidden.
I just tried it, and this option hides the horse and the gun. I think I read that this got changed in the last big update.
I still see your horse. Edit: now is gone.

I disabled the option again. Can you still see it now?

ok, then no more zaps, or at least only to those I know they use CCs.

If someone only has the hat, then you can be sure they don’t have a horse or a gun. Otherwise, there’s no way to know for sure.

Yes, there’s no way to know for sure, but someone without a horse won’t be able to receive sats from anyone. So if all of a person’s (recent) items only have CCs on them, you can be pretty sure they don’t have a horse or their horse is sick.
Gun is a bit trickier, but if you reply to someone quickly and then receive sats (so you need a horse yourself), you can probably tell it was them and that they have a gun.
You can also check if most of the replies to them have the same amount of sats. That’s also a pretty good indicator that they have a gun, imo.

another idea:
the public lightning address can be put into a well-crafted bio on SN or Nostr, for completely private sat-zaps, and CC-zaps can be the SN-exclusive way to rate posts (like on Hacker News); this way the rank list can remain; if the content is great, the stacker will see their public LN balance increase and they will put more effort into LN wallet maintenance; if not, he'll go milk sats somewhere else;
remove lightning wallet connectivity completely; the strength of SN is in its open-source GitHub-based code; instead, direct people to learn how to use & run lightning; maintenance of LN wallet connectivity is a pain in the ass;
that's it! if u don't know the stacker well or his content sucks, don't sat-zap them; by their fruits u shall know them;
