I got into shitcoins first because of GPU eth mining last cycle, much of that community doesn't see the big picture. The group I followed was into mining, but their ambitions don't scale all the way to Bitcoin mining for some reason. BitsBeTripping was the OG of that space, and while he and some others did transition to Bitcoin mining, the rest are still shilling the next rugpull, searching for something to do with their dozens or even hundreds of gaming gpus. For me I signed off- now focusing on learning, stacking, and onboarding normies. I sent my (luckily few) gpus to family and friends and got a couple little gecko asics to tinker with solo node mining just as Satoshi intended.
