Our producer keeps kindly offering to remove @grayruby's audio track, perhaps to save us from poor predictions. Who knows? For now, though, we're keeping his side of the conversation in the episodes.

Happy listening!

Fucking AI producers, man

Excited to listen!

If we had gone with last week's suggestion, we wouldn't be in such a dire cross-off situation and the episode would have been a tight 24 minutes.

This week, somehow, the episode was just as long with or without him.

In this episode, hosts discuss personal delays due to family issues before diving into live commentary on the NFL's Packers vs. Bears game, highlighting injuries (e.g., Jordan Love's concussion), a dramatic comeback by the Bears leading to an overtime win, and playoff implications for NFC North teams like the Packers, Bears, and Lions. They update their fantasy football league, including semifinal matchups and trades, and share a humorous story about a user (Real Bitcoin Dog) losing big on a low-liquidity "troll" betting market for the Rams vs. Seahawks game, which sparked community discussion and a generous boost from PredictIt.

They congratulate winners of their Emirates NBA Cup contest and analyze NBA standings at the one-third mark, sharing power rankings (e.g., OKC at #1, Nuggets high, Spurs rising) and hot takes like the Hornets potentially sneaking into the East play-in. NFL segments include crossing off the Colts from playoff contention, debating the end of the Chiefs' dynasty, and speculating on future dynasties (e.g., Packers, Bears, or Patriots). The episode wraps with NBA uniform rants and Olympic hockey arena updates.

AI producer is trying to give you a hint that it’s time for you to get a new cohost.

I don’t think I made any terrible predictions this episode. We didn’t really talk much about why I think the Rams will lose the west. That will likely go horribly wrong for me.

Also, it really didn't do any editing in the final version and my audio sucked. Somehow, it's getting dumber over time.

Our numbers are actually creeping back up a bit. I wonder if it is a time of year thing. We definitely had a drop off in the summer months and into early fall but the past month or so listens have been picking back up a bit.
