This was an Ugly win. But Buffalo will take it. Here are my three takeaways

This Bills Defense is feast or famine. I can’t believe they let Sanders go up and down the field on them. Everything was to backs, check downs, and screen plays. The coaching staff had no clue how to stop the Browns offense. Sanders at one point went 6/6 and the Bills allowed 8/11 third down conversions to the stinking Browns. The INTs and the sacks at the end really saved Sean McDermott from having an embarrassing loss on the road to a 3 win team.
JAMES COOK SAVED THIS GAME. Josh was not super man today. That near safety he took was ridiculous! He did that nonsense on a down that didn’t matter any and he hurt his foot trying to avoid the pass rush. Josh missed throws to open receivers and when he finally hit guys they dropped them. Brandin Cooks has another big drop on his only target and Dawson Knox who was growing on me had a huge drop in the end zone that would have sealed the game!! Thank goodness we have James Cook he is the only Bills player who showed up on offense today.
I was expecting a blowout but instead I got an unbalanced game that Buffalo could have easily lost. Sanders is a rookie and his bad tendencies came out when the Browns needed him most. But overall I thought he played okay. Nothing special about him. He doesn’t have a hose like Caleb or the athlete that Jayden is but I think he will be serviceable in the NFL but I don’t see him being a franchise guy like Lamar Jackson.

Again this bad defense and lack of passing game is going to kill the Bills in the playoffs. All of the media thinks this is Buffalo’s year because all the major QBs are either hurt or eliminated besides Lamar and Baltimore but even just marginally better QB play and the Bills lose today. Hate to be down on my own team but the tape don’t lie.

Next week Philly is coming to Buffalo. We could still possibly win the division if NE loses today to Baltimore or one of their last two games and we win out. But if Buffalo loses then the last game against the Jets might be meaningless. Hopefully next week the offense has a better showing but I doubt it.
