I think it’s a mix of factors. 

A lot of it comes down to where energy and attention are flowing, and in a few private conversations, some of what you mentioned has definitely come up as part of the “why.” 

At the same time, I think it’s also just a reflection of where Bitcoin + Lightning is right now. 

I believe sometimes you really just have to build and ignore those who do not see the vision your building. Let them call you names or say your wasting your time, but you have to keep pushing forward up that hill, especially while others take shortcuts.

that is sad, and concerning!  Is it because of all the hostility and noise?  Or because nothing much is actually happening, and the only money to be made in bitcoin seems to be treasury company scams?
