i wanted to offer my instance to or help small businesses in my local community interested in learning how to accept bitcoin (not in the US, so no Square, yet) since bitcoin adoption here is scant to none, but my approach was quickly foibled when i learned that the local online classifieds on such walled-garden socials are not friendly to bitcoin. My ad quickly got disapproved for not adhering to some "community guidelines" intended to protect the public. Sad.
i have organized a small meetup where i can try to spread the word, but, alas, my attempt at reaching a wider audience was a non-starter.
i suppose i can create a group socials/event page and post about it on there, but i was wondering if any of you had other suggestions/warnings re this approach.
Note: i am not talking about being an uncle jim node runner, but just providing the BTCPay to which folks can connect their own on-chain or LN wallets.
It's better to reassess the approach with a general overview of Bitcoin, on-chain and Lightning, and then present solutions. And there are other options besides BTCPay that complement each other.
Good work.
Thanks. Yes, usually that's my approach during meetups, but I wanted to try to share to a wider audience, hence my frustration.
