TL:DR

Spending on sports-related construction completed in 2025 reached $6.5 billion. The five biggest projects of the year — Kansas’ Booth Memorial Stadium, AT&T Stadium, Progressive Field, FSU’s Doak Campbell Stadium and the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Cincinnati — were renovations, as 2025 was just the third time since 1986 that a new major league venue did not debut.

My Thoughts 💭My Thoughts 💭

Americans we love our sports! But I am somewhat surprised the spend is under 100k BTC. I figured it would be much more with all the stadiums that are currently in construction.

I think it’s just a matter of timing of projects. Next year might be much more.
