What is there to stop? Venezuela is a failed state. Stop comparing Venezuela to Taiwan. They're nothing alike. We don't want to own Venezuelan territory the way the communists feel entitled to own Taiwan.
Oil is the only thing of value that Venezuela owns. Taiwan worked to make itself valuable and would have thrived with or without oil.
Even oil itself is only valuable because of innovations developed by the free market. Natural resources are only useful when the state leaves people alone and lets the market to do the work of converting them into something useful.
Wait is there like an actual warning? Does the PRC want to go full Pearl Harbor because of Venezuela? I'm sure they'll get over it.
Venezuela has just today cut all future oil exports to USA.
Meanwhile Japan has abandoned US hegemony declaring it will rebuild its military and throw out US military based on Japanese territory.

How is Japan rebuilding their military a bad thing for the US? The only Americans who take issue with it are communists. The good half of the US wants Japan to have their own nukes.
Again, Venezuela is already dead from the disease that is socialism. Nothing Maduro says matters.
The US isn't in decay because China made a trade deal with Myanmar. It was doomed for collapse on it's own with or without any external competitor.
What's important is that the communists still haven't gained supremacy over the whole of China, and they never will.
