pull down to refresh

Yes but now Trent is hurt, Stout is hurt. We will see how long those guys are out. Kittle will hopefully be back Saturday. I have concerns about the 49ers ability to run and pass block against the Seahawks without Trent and Kittle. We will see. Hopefully they pull it off but it definitely won't be the defense that wins the game like when they played them in week 1. The D got some huge stops in that game and Bosa had a strip sack on Darnold on the last drive of the game to seal it. Warner also forced a fumble that game.

The D was actually holding up ok for awhile there despite the injuries and I was hopeful that with young guys and backups they would get better as the season went on and be playing their best football in December and January but as guys have gotten banged up and played more than they ever have they seem to be getting worse even despite the late bye. Either that or there is just so much tape on these guys now that play callers and good QBs can exploit them. Once teams get passed midfield they can feel like they have 4 downs because there is no pass rush to speak of so even if it is 3rd and long you can get to 4th and manageable and comfortably go for it because they aren't going to get pressure and as long as your QB makes the right read and throw you will pick it up.

Against certain teams the D can probably take some chances to try and generate pressure or jump a route to go for a pick because they know the offense will pick them up but against the best defensive teams in the league you can't expect the offense to score 40. Have to keep the opponent under 30 and hope your offense can find a way to get to 30.

If they get the 1 seed the predyx market will get really interesting

Maybe around the edges. I don't think anyone is moving off their massive positions.

I wouldn't sell if I had NO Shares. Not unless I saw some significant improvement in the defense. Can they ride the offense to the win the Super Bowl. Sure, it's possible but it seems unlikely even if they only had to play 3 games in the playoffs that they can win 3 shootouts against good teams who have just as good offenses and much better defenses.
