I celebrate the action of liberating our country Venezuela, but the interests that the United States has in my country are economic.

Glad you can acknowledge that US is not liberating Venezuela- USA is seizing Venezuela for its massive oil reserves.

USA is dictating to Venezuela that Venezuelas oil must be extracted by and supplied to US Big Oil, for the protit of USA, not China or any other nation of Venezuelas choice.

Glad to see you still cannot read....

They.... they literally said the opposite of what you did.

reply

You are selective in what you comprehend and what you ignore - namely the acknowledgement that the US is only interested in Venezuelas oil and extracting it for US benefit.

reply

For years now, Venezuela's resources have not belonged to itself.

reply

Random question because I just ran across this and I am interested... is it turn that the Venezuelan National Flag used to have 7 Stars on it and when Chavez took over he added an 8th Star for some reason?

reply

Are you asking because you're curious, or because you already have a good answer you want to share?

reply

Curious! I heard about it a few minutes ago and then saw you had replied! I had never heard anything about it so I have no idea if it is real or not!

reply

Yes, Chavez added a star to the flag and changed the direction of the horse on the coat of arms.

before/after

The first seven correspond to the provinces that signed the Act of Independence on July 5, 1811. The eighth (Guayana) was incorporated later, since that province had not initially signed the independence (it remained loyal to Spain at first), but was liberated during the war of independence.

Funny how you think only oil comes out of the ground. The US is already maxed out in its heavy crude refining capability plus the oil is quite cheap because of the difficulty in refining it. REE and other critical minerals are located there and is a huge reason why China and Russia were involved. Now those connections are.... well they are shot.

It is far too early to say the situation in Venezuela is stable and that US hegemony has been re established.
Only a paid apologist for Trumps war crimes would claim such.
Trumps unlawful invasion and kidnapping could trigger substantial conflict and suffering for the people of Venezuela.
