His destiny is to be an all-time great good-stats-bad-team guy.

Can I interest anyone in Zach Lavine, who's only played in four playoff games in his entire career?

He's 21/4/4 on 47/39/83 shooting for his career.

reply

Wow!! That is a strong candidate!

I was going to say Stephon Marbury next

reply

Lavine's career isn't over yet though. Still possible he might win a championship one day!

reply

He'll still have a solid GSBT resume

Marbury's problem is that the teams were only bad because he was their point guard. Every time he left a team they got better.

reply

So true. Man I often wonder what if he and KG got along in Minny. They could’ve possibly been a dynamic duo.

The GM who drafted Trae Young to the Atlanta Hawks is now an executive with the Wizards, so there is already a relationship there that helps tilt towards the Wizards.

reply

Interesting. I was unaware of that.

reply

Absolutely no idea. I think Washington would be last on my list. I haven't thought about it that hard but it wouldn't be in the top 25 that's for sure.

reply

Maybe he wants a future career as a swamp denizen

reply

Could be. He is due for an extension but one would imagine whatever team trades for him is going to factor that into their cap space.
