Wow!!! I never heard of this Bob Murphy guy! You got any literature you recommend for us stackers to learn more about him
I recommend you look up the podcast he did with Tom Woods called Contra Krugman and listen to any topics that strike your fancy.
He also has his own podcast.
He wrote Choice, which is a condensed and simplified version of Human Action.
Another book of his that's on my reading list is Chaos Theory, where he explains why state interventions in the economy cause rather than reduce social chaos.
I always love it when I get new stuff to chew on! Bookmarked.

Well here's a funny but also true answer: @Undisciplined's favorite economist is @Undisciplined. I'm sure he'd rather give money to @Undisciplined than Bob Murphy, for example!
True, but there's more to life than money.
The way I approached the question was basically "If we can only have one economist to answer all of our questions, who would I choose?" I'd definitely pick Bob over myself.
Edit: Also, part of me was like "My favorite economist (other than myself) is my friend from grad school who none of you have ever heard of."
