The ultimate proof of the "Samourai Trap" is the July 2025 guilty plea. If these men were true cypherpunks—warriors for the cause—they would have fought this to the Supreme Court to defend the principle that "Code is Speech."

This is what ultimately made me hesitate. Not sure one way or the other, and I can totally see that they traded short stint for confession, but still... missed opportunity for Cypherpunk-y notions be tested in the higher courts.
