Two new shows that I'm enjoying a lot so far.

Ponies is a spy show (shocking, given my tastes, right?) set in the late 70s. Two wives of CIA agents in Moscow find themselves widowed thanks to an operation gone wrong, and convince the CIA to let them work as spies to figure out what happened. While there are humorous elements, it's not a "Spies Like Us" style comedy; it's a show pretty grounded in reality, and the humor in some of the interactions between the two widows only serves as a contrast to some of the very serious shit they have to deal with. It's got a very gritty '70s feel to it (even filmed in a '70s aspect ratio), and the performances are fantastic. Emilia Clarke (Daenerys on GoT) does a perfect American accent. It on Peacock and all episodes were dropped at once.

Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a Game of Thrones spin-off, based on George Martin's "Dunk and Egg" novellas. It's a much lighter story than GoT or HotD, focusing on a time between the two big conflicts and on a much smaller scale. Dunk is a former squire whose knight died, and is now attempting to make it as a hedge knight -- a knight with no master. Egg is the kid who wants to be his squire. It's a lot of fun, and while there are absolutely serious elements (I've read the novella), it's still much more of a classic adventure story than GoT is. It's on HBO and one episode has dropped so far.

I saw a commercial for Ponies. Looked kind of interesting.

If you like classic '70s era cold war spy stuff, it's a blast.

All "spy movies" are false as fuck. Especially latest ones. Are all only to brainwash people.

People are so gullible with these "spy movies" that are presenting so many lies that make me laugh. Ok undersrand is just a movie but seeing what they say and do is like considering viewers as dumb as fuck.
