- P I don't care just don't draft one.
WR and TE are a must in free agency. They could draft a future all pro at WR or TE and Shanahan likely won't play them as rookies. Even if they don't play in the high end of free agency, they absolutely need more depth than they had this year. All their stars besides CMC got hurt and the cupboard was completely bare. They skipped out on FA last year to reset the financials. Can't happen again. Especially with a number of your blue chip players getting older, you need to have capable backups and rotational players.
Apparently some teams are still playing but it's draft, trade, FA season as far as I am concerned.
Sats for all,
GR
You can keep your hands off my linderbaum, he's my top FA target this season for the vikings. Especially since Ryan Kelly very much should retire.
I'm not hating but I don't think Jennings is a true WR1 on most other teams, I like him, but I don't think you back up the cash truck for him. Targets like doubs and shaheed I'm unsure would be an upgrade, I think you gotta go after one of the good WRs in the draft. And just cut aiyuk he's not been worth a dime.
Fully agree you gotta go get a WR, but a TE? Sure kittles been very hurt repeatedly, but your backup has been performing admirably. Although Kyle Pitts sounds like a great fit.
The Raiders have the most money and the worst line. Those free agent O-Linemen are ours.
You can have the rest. I just want linderbaum
You guys don't even play your best OLineman at the correct position. Haha
That doesn't mean we don't want more guys to play out of position. I'm sure Linderbaum will love being a subpar RT.
🤣 hesrightyouknow.gif
Kyle won't play a rookie WR so I really don't want them to waste a first round pick on a WR he isn't going to play. Jennings is most definitely not a WR1. I don't think they have a path to a true X right now but between the guys they have, the rookie Watkins from last draft, and what they can get in FA they can build a good, more versatile, more dynamic WR core.
I like Shaheed as a returner and a guy in the WR room that can vertically stretch the field. I wouldn't sign him to be the guy.
Pitts is a different kind of TE. If they can get him I think that adds to the passing attack. Whereas the other guys would be more just competition for Tonges and depth. The 49ers need to start complimenting their older stars with young guys who can develop under them and take their spots in a few years.
I don't think you need to worry about the 49ers signing Linderbaum. They think their C is good because he can block for 1 second before he gets blown up. If that's the case stop calling deep crossers downfield and get yourself another Deebo type player who you get throw screens and quick slants to. I am not going to rail on Shanahan because he had an amazing year but his talent doesn't match his scheme right now.
Diggs might be available for cheapish. He's still an exceptionally good quick routes guy.
Turns out it was a mistake to let deebo walk.
Trade route would be interesting. We will see what happens.
Will trade you CJ Stroud for a bag of chips!
I don’t know what’s going on with Stroud. Texans need to decide if they are going to extend him.
I dont think we do this offseason. Anderson should be our main target. I was shocked we didnt put in Mills in the 4th just to try and spark something.
He absorbed their vitality
And he will do it again. Hence the need for depth.
Have they entertained the injury theory that an actual vampire is on the roster
Further evidence to support your theory.
