After a thrilling night in Europe , we have now the teams that qualified for the last 16 Round in March. Premier League teams have shown an impressive performance where 5 out of 6 six teams will wait their rivals from the play-offs to be held in February.
One of the favorites to qualify straight to the last 16 round, Real Madrid, was finally sent to the play-offs as Benfica's goalkeeper scored a goal in the very last minute. It does not seem that it's their year. Also, reigning champions, PSG, only could draw against Newcastle and they were left out of the top 8. Runner-up, Inter, despite of winning in Germany only could finish 10th.

I had to look up those historical references and now I get your point. I partly agree, but anyone who watches football and knows a bit about it knows it’s the best rule the game has. Without offside, the game would be boring and people wouldn’t really enjoy it.

I don’t really know about Betis since I haven’t watched them play, but Porto have been a bit up and down and the Scots are always tough. Braga are struggling at home, but they’re doing well in the Europa League. Feeling confident!

I watched the first half and Benfica had so many opportunities to increase the distance that it was incredible they only went to the restrooms with 2-1. Real Madrid is in trouble this year.
