What an incredible day in Melbourne. 10 hours of tennis to decide the finalists. First of all, Alcaraz had to fight fiercely to beat Zverev in 5 sets, with 3 of them going to tiebreak. In the final one, Alcaraz beat Zverev 7-5 despite of some physical problems.

In the second semifinal, Djokovic unexpectedly defeated the reigning champion, Sinner, in five sets too. What a player the Serbian is!

So, the final is set.

  • Alcaraz (1) vs Djokovic (4)

Regarding our pool, I thought that today we were going to announce the winner but, due to Alcaraz going to the fifth set, there is still a small chance that @suraz could beat @Undisciplined .

There are 29 points of difference between @Undisciplined and @suraz , and there will be 34 points available. I am already eliminated and I am happy to take your picks if you wish, so that they are secret.

It's up to you..

Hahaha , I was expecting it, though I wanted to mention just in case. Still thinking about the 3 sets tactic?

Djokovic is the only player in the circuit who has a positive head to head against Alcaraz....

reply

I haven’t decided who I’m taking but I’ll stick with 3 set either way.

reply

Fair enough! I am not sure who's going to win it either.

Does @suraz have to get both parts right to catch me?
