Most people I know are simply not interested in bitcoin, they're not, that's it, merchants included. Orange pilling normies is a laudable task and I respect and admire those who try, I've done it myself but with pretty limited results.

This method with QR payments doesn't involve orange pilling anyone, it's for bitcoiners who want to use their BTC in day to day life, that's the target. As it's P2P, intermediation is the same as in lnp2pbot or Robosats, it can always escape censorship e.g Tor
