I've been quietly working on rebuilding the new NOICE Magazine website the past little while. Well, it's been about a year on and off. Started trying to piece it together, but quit a few times along the way because I would hit a bug or something that I couldn't fix. Took me a while to get back at it, learn some new tools and try again.
Right now my setup is running ppq.ai api key using claude code in VS Code to edit locally, and then push to git hub and host on vercel for test production. I'm not 100% sure what I'm doing, but I've got the ideas and the project to work on. So far, so good.
I managed to link up the back end data storage stuff with Supabase, and now I am working on building the photo uploading / folder storage stuff.
Here's a screen cap of what I've got so far. I'm pretty happy with it at this point.
I like the way user can change the number of tiles on the screen. Feels nice.
At first I wasn't sure about the white space and how irregular it is, but every time you rearranged things, it felt nice. The white space is good! This was a pleasant surprise.
All in all it looks very good!
Yeah, the negative space gives the tension. But you can have the option to tighten it up. Very "noice" in ethics (cheeky, fun, stylish). And thank you very much!
Very noiche
hehh
Is it open for submissions?
It is on the current website:
