pull down to refresh

I built a small app called Matcher.News to read RSS feeds with a “match/swipe” UI: headlines show up as cards, you swipe/like what you actually want to read later, and skip the rest.

I just added support for passing an RSS feed via a query parameter, so you can now open Stacker News inside Matcher.News with this link:

https://matcher.news/?feed=https://stacker.news/rss

How it works

Open the link with ?feed=...

Matcher.News loads that RSS feed and renders posts as cards

If you care: like / save (goes to your read-later list)

If not: skip and keep going

Why it’s useful

Lighter, faster reading: filter by interest first, then read

Great for high-volume feeds

Works with any RSS (Substack, blogs, news sites, etc.) by swapping the feed param

Feedback / ideas

If you try it, I’d love feedback:

Should “likes” be organized by topic or by feed?

Filters? (keywords, authors, score, time)

Better read-later “inbox” / queue UX?

This is really cool. You should make this into an app for all news not just SN. Maybe you can get AI summaries for stuff that is behind paywalls.

like Tinder for SN posts??

Amazing
