Hi everyone,

We’re working on a Bitcoin forum where participation is tied to Bitcoin message signatures rather than accounts.

We’re planning to run a reward event, and before deciding on the topic, we’d like to hear ideas directly from the community.

What is one question you’ve always wanted to ask Bitcoin holders?

It can be:

  • An open-ended question, or
  • A multiple-choice question (feel free to suggest options)

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

  1. After being exposed to Bitcoin, how many days did you wait after you bought it? (0,14,30,60,+90)
  2. Did you buy because you expected Bitcoin to go higher? (yes,no)
reply

First one is on.
I’ve run out of addresses on my side, feel free to spin up the second question yourself.
Non-reward events are free as long as they’re under 24 hours.

If someone vote with satoshis, what happens with said satoshis?

Your money never leaves your wallet

I would ask are you a genuine and serious Bitcoiner if you are on Stacker News regularly but can't be fucked enough about the sats denominated V4V P2P culture SNs is built upon to attach both a spending and a receiving wallet.

Too many Big Talk No Walk hypocrits in the Bitcoin space.

If a Bitcoiner literally 'lives on Bitcoin' but... doesn't know Stacker News exists, much less 'attaches a gun' to Stacker News...

Are they are real Bitcoiner?

reply

Sure they probably are.

But if they come here and claim to be a Bitcoiner but cant be bothered attaching wallet/s to enable using Bitcoin P2P V4V then it is almost certain they are hypocrits making claims that are not supported by their actions.

Nor would they want to attach wallets and then deliberately conceal that.

That is literally what we have with some self described 'Bitcoiners' on here loudly providing content but not attaching wallets and not walking the talk.

Do not trust - Verify

Horse and Gun verify you are serious about P2P V4V denominated in sats.

I'm here posting... and I don't have a 'wallet attached.'
Am I 'walking the walk?' Without a wallet attached... how am I posting?

reply

You can post and comment without attaching a wallet- you can either rely on zaps from others or pay for things using the QR/code that comes up for payment.

But if you do not attach wallet/s and do not show horse and gun I will not know what you are doing - all I know is that you probably are not serious about actively engaging in and contributing to a P2P V4V sats denominated platform, and verifying that you are.

In contrast showing a gun and horse verify you most likely are serious about walking the talk and I am much more likely to zap you than otherwise because I will know my sats are going to go to you P2P V4V via LN and sats denominated.

reply

Don't know because your nym is literally anon so I have not ever associated you with any content.

Do you claim to be a Bitcoiner and want to see Bitcoin LN grow and develop stronger?

Looking at your past posts I find-

'Bitcoin needs users, it needs good UI, it needs better privacy, and it needs better education things that people can actually can use today and have a good experience with.
Cashu's not perfect, but it eviscerates stablecoins or exchange accounts in every way and is a great tool people can use today, unlike anything else out there. Bitcoin needs practical solutions today not more geo-political bullshit circlejerking that frankly you and others propagate while offering zero solutions.'

You sound a bit like me there!

And you have been here since block 223678, that's a while, so if you do claim to believe in a V4V P2P sats denominated social media platform you are on one several years already but not apparently set up to support its sats denominated functionality.

'Bitcoin needs ... things that people can actually can use today and have a good experience with.'

Sounds like Stacker News with guns attached and blazing!
