I want to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped me in my last post. I really didn't expect so much kindness and support from people I don't even know. It's amazing to find a place where everyone tries so hard to help others. I'm very happy to be here, and I hope one day I can be useful to this community in return for everything you’re teaching me.

I have another question. I’ve been following Bitcoin for about two months now. I saw the price go from $110,000 - $115,000 down to $60,000 - $65,000 in such a short time. In Iran, we are used to high inflation and our money losing value, but not like this! Someone told me there are reasons for this and it’s not permanent, but I’m honestly scared.

What do you think was the reason for Bitcoin dropping so much lately? Do you think this kind of crash will happen again? Or do you believe it will grow back up? I would really appreciate it if you could explain this to me so I can understand better. Thank you.

If you look to find the reason for a price drop, you will never understand why do you buy bitcoin... and why do you need it.

Or do you believe it will grow back up?

Only fiat maxis think about that.

I'm sorry, but I don't agree with you at all, I don't think like you, because my only reason for buying Bitcoin is to preserve the value of my money and capital, and if I don't think about it and ask why it has fallen and buy Bitcoin without being convinced or even guessing that it might grow again, then I'm crazy. I don't know what your feelings and beliefs are about Bitcoin, and I value your opinion, but I don't think so. And why bitcoin is now cheap and what was the reason and whether it may grow again or not is very important to me in buying bitcoin and making this decision.

Actually DarthCoin means this You are buying bitcoins in order to keep your money trail hidden and to be able to trade in the free market without the government tracking you. You should not expect that bitcoins for you every day, in addition to freeing your money and erasing your transaction traces, will make you richer and bring you a lot of profit. ... I think it meant almost the same, and you have the right to ask and worry, but its meaning was different from your perception.

thank you for your explanation.. Yes, I know that I buy bitcoins to hide my money and traces of my transactions, but besides this, it is important to me that the value of what I buy is maintained and does not suddenly drop again. Because this way, I will still lose our relationship and it doesn't matter to me

Oh no, my friend, wait and be calm, he didn't say such a thing, and he doesn't mean what you think. lol

  • nobody knows
  • it's broken
  • some financial institution blew up and fire-sold all their coins in panic

Thank you, this makes a lot of sense to me. It's a bit relieving to hear that the problem comes from these big institutions and not Bitcoin itself. In my country, we say "when the elephants fight, it's the grass that suffers." I guess I just have to be patient and not panic like those institutions did

That's a beautiful saying

reply

Thank you, this sentence is an old proverb that is very common in Iran

reply

Got many elephants over there?

reply

lol No, on the contrary, there is no elephant at all, but this proverb is often repeated where it can be used
