if they do a remaster or launch a new one, i will for sure give it a go.
nice thing about not being a true fan per se is that i didnt notice any butchering of key story elements 

HBO did an excellent job with last of us i thought, really enjoyed that, even though they shoe horned in an entire epiode about a gay couple, the acting was good enough that i gave it a pass lol

I had the same reaction. It was okay it wasn’t as interesting as season one.

I played fallout 3 a lot and became intrigued with the lore. Die hard fans of the game hate the Amazon show as they are doing a really lazy job with key aspects of the story.

If I had time I would play all the games to get a feel for the story on my own but unfortunately I can’t.

But I do think if HBO had this franchise and $1B budget this show could possibly rival tv series like the Walking Dead, Game of Thrones.
