Personally I would not want to build a data center in New Orleans.

I would think there are plenty of other locations with lower natural disaster risk

Katrina was like a 200 year storm and the levees failed. I think it should be much more resilient now

I agree it is not a common event but plenty of other land above sea level I would look at first.

Time to send 10MB of data (a million or so tokens) to the moon and back: 2.6 seconds
Time it takes a SOTA bot to answer my 1 million token question: 30 minutes

Just don't use those DCs for HFT and we're fine.
