that's what we usually define as UX, the "science" of finding the most useful and appropriate place for whatever functionality or button, how the user get there and how it use it. Aesthetics is just makeup to make things more attractive. ~Design is the practice that find balance between aesthetics and functionality... Agree, usually devs underrate all of these, aesthetics, UX and design in general.
