I don't mind the idea of territories putting a price on subbing but I don't think we should stray too far away from value for value.

If you value a territory a lot then you will subscribe with some more of your own value. How is that not still "value for value"?

It still is value for value but more restrictive because you have to pay for everything rather than just what you like.
