Could be so easy with CLINK, enter a Lightning address and tap accept in your wallet to connect for sending.

NIP repo maintainers don't want to update their clients or replace bad NIPs though.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to set up a wallet on nostr. I had no problem doing this 4 years ago. Make it make sense

what's the confusion?

the gov came and scared all the custodians.. now you have to be your own bank, just like it should be.

I'm sorry if ya'll are sick of me bringing this up. But honestly, this was the absolute WORST design choice by the nostr devs (who made this decision??) and I know FOR A FACT this is the reason why many people try nostr for 10 minutes, fail to set up a wallet, and never come back. Is that a good thing for nostr and freedom??!!
