I’ve been thinking about this and I want to throw it to the SN community.

Two simple questions. But I suspect the answers won’t be simple.

  1. If you gift someone 1 BTC, how would you want them to use it?

Would you wanted them to HODL it for a decade and never touch it? Why not wait and gave it them after the decade?

Run a node?
Start a business?
Fund open-source work?
Buy land?
Secure their family’s future?

If I’m honest, part of me would want them to treat it like a seed. Not a lottery ticket. Not a shopping spree. A seed. Something planted with intention. Something that grows sovereignty, not just consumption.

But then again… once you give a gift, is it still yours to directed?

  1. If you were gifted 1 BTC, how would you actually use it?

Now we get real.

Would you truly locked it away for 10+ years?

Or would you spending it to clear debt? Improve your living situation? Fund a project? Take some risk off the table?

It’s easy to preached diamond hands when it’s theoretical. It’s different when that much value hitting your wallet.

Personally, I think this question exposure the gap between ideology and reality. Between the version of us that talks about Bitcoin… and the version of us that has to make decisions under pressure.

So, folks — what would you want someone to do with 1 BTC?

And what would you actually do if it landed in your hands tomorrow?

Let’s hear the honest answers.
