To get exposure to the coming built out of nuclear energy I read somewhere UEC is a strong nuke play. While humanity is embarking on the AI and maybe Quantum age of compute the amount of energy that is needed will be off the charts and nuclear can fill that needs. Plus I wanted to give my capital to this very important effort to source and mine the fuel nuclear needs to produce power.

At 24.1k sats per share ($67,406), and no dividend. This company will have to grow at or faster than bitcoin to make it a worthwhile investment which means a 50 to 60% growth rate.

The company trades at a PE -101 which means investors are paying $101 to access $1 of losses.

Yikes they are burning cash at the moment and not profitable. Value investors should definitely skip this one.

Let’s review some key fundamentals to determine if this stock is worth spending sats on.

The fundamentals of this company are decent.

The balance sheet is fantastic, the growth prospects are fantastic, but they aren’t profitable and investors are already paying a premium to access the losses.

From a Bitcoiner perspective . Paying 24k sats for this company is reasonable. It is projected to grow faster than Bitcoin plus they are mining Fuel that will power the Bitcoin and AI economy.

The world runs on energy and a lot of uranium will be needed to build out nuclear power plants over the next 20-30 years. While the valuation and the unprofitability of this company may scare some investors away I think it is prudent to invest some sats into a company that is working to extract fuel for energy.

Here is the performance according to Simply Wall Street

I bought shares in this company long time ago and never sold. I believe nuclear has a place in the world and UEC is doing the mining to extract the important fuel input.

I don’t plan on buying more at this time but I do think giving capital to this company is generally a good idea especially if you are a Bitcoiner. Bitcoin needs energy to make the protocol work and if nuclear can drive the cost of power closer the zero the more people will have an incentive to mine bitcoin!
