I mean this is a free world and nobody needs to prove anything to anyone. I'll give you the opposite version: I never posted and almost never engaged in bitcoin/lightning conversations, even at bitcoin++ (lol), but I do have a node, a horse and a gun.

Seems are different views on this within SNs developers but that Stacker News as a whole can no longer be seen as working to build a V4V platform using, as much as possible, sats as the MoE.
P.S. If Stacker News still sees its sats denominated nature as a priority then the ability of content providers to conceal their wallet status needs to be removed.
This does not force anyone to do anything.
But it would give content consumers like me the ability to verify whether or not content providers are walking the talk regarding LN use and adoption.
If SNs is to ever be a viable economic unit it needs the input of content consumers zapping sats into the SNs economy.
Content consumers cannot do that from an informed perspective if they do not know the wallet status of content providers.
If someone is rarely or never posting LN adoption content or is simply not interested in LN adoption then having, or not having LN wallets is not hypocrisy.
I no zero problem with either.

Moderation of forums with money is an intrinsic part of the V4V model, as is paying to post.

I want to emphasize due to apparent misunderstanding from @Scoresby and others that I do not see any problem (ie hypocrisy) with people not interested in Bitcoin, or newbies, who have not yet have or show attached LN wallet/s.
My gripe is with content providers who virtue signal strongly pro Bitcoin content but who refuse to attach LN wallets and thereby fail to maximise their use of and support for the LN.
I see this group as hypocrits and essentially hostile to the whole aim as I saw and understood of Stacker News which was to be a sats denominated V4V social media platform.
That's why I came here- to spend sats, and have them received as sats and get good honest content...and I do not believe I am alone in that.
If Stacker News has given up on building a sats denominated V4V platform it should be announced so that we are not operating under false understandings.
