Regardless of how deep you believe it goes, if you think its all a psyop or whatever... is it bigger than Watergate? Not should it be... is it.

Regardless of how deep you believe it goes, if you think its all a psyop or whatever... is it bigger than Watergate? Not should it be... is it.
For me, it's the crime(s) at the core; Watergate was political dirty tricks and a break-in, and really notable because A) they got caught, and B) it's wasn't necessary (Nixon was going to win, but he was so fucking paranoid that he insisted on doing the dirty tricks to be sure).
For Epstein, the big issue is how much of this happened after he was known as a pedophile and had literally already gone to jail for the crime (and this was very much public information). Regardless of whether everyone in the files is also a rapist (and let's be blunt -- the three biggest names, Trump, Clinton, and Prince Andrew, almost certainly are, but a lot of the other names are people who simply thought he could help them with business or political connections), it shows incredible bad judgement by a greater number of people.
Yeah...
I don't think there's enough trust in the system anymore for something to be a bigger deal than Watergate.
Man... I hope that is true. I don't feel that yet though.
My impression is that Americans had a lot of trust in the integrity of political institutions in the 60's, so Watergate was an actual red-pill.
I don't think many people are even surprised by the Epstein files because we all know the whole thing is corrupt. Some people just still think it's mostly "the other side" that's responsible for the corruption.
I know what you are saying but I pretty much think few actually take the red pill. There have been MANY red pills and most people seem to still choose the blue one. We all can make lists of red pill moments and probably most people change little in their lives because of them.
I see slow erosion of trust in institutions but not a red pill moment. Not then, not now.
Fair enough and I basically agree.
My point could be stated differently as there just not being as much room for the needle to move anymore. Whatever amount of disillusionment occurred because of Watergate probably isn't possible anymore.
Yeah..
I was a small child during Watergate. But I remember Iran-Contra!!!! Talk about cover up!!!
Indeed.
Hells yeah! And we will never know exactly how deep it goes!
I do think many people get fixated on aspects of it instead of the broader view.
I wasn't alive during Watergate so I can't answer is it? Should it? Hell yeah.
Nor was I... but when I grew up it was a big deal and still is for many people.
