I did a quick search on SN to see if anyone already did this tutorial, and I only found this post. It's got some relevant info, but it's not very visual or clear, so I decided to make a new one.

If you don’t have ShockWallet yet, take a quick look at my quick review before you move on.

Alright, let’s do this. Go to your wallet settings. If you’ve never attached a wallet before, you’ll need to go through a couple of extra steps to unlock the wallet settings. These extra steps are so you can use your wallet settings across different devices and keep everything in sync.

Click on “unlock wallets”. If you already have a passphrase, just type it in. If you forgot it, you can hit “reset”. And if you’ve never done this before, just click “save”.

If everything went fine, you’ll see this page.

I’d recommend clicking on “passphrase” and saving your seed so you can use it on other devices you want to sync up.

Alright, now we’re ready to attach ShockWallet. Look for ShockWallet on the page and click “attach”.

You’ll be asked to enter the ndebit.

You can find it in ShockWallet at the bottom of the “Linked Apps” menu.

Tap the ndebit string to copy it, then paste it into the Stacker News form and click “next”.

Now you need to enter the “noffer”, or your LN address.

For this tutorial, we’re using the noffer. Head over to the “Offers” menu in ShockWallet, copy the noffer string, paste it into the Stacker News form, and click “next”.

If everything went smoothly, just hit “save wallet”.

At this point, you’ve got your horse and your gun — ready for the SN wild west. 🤠

There’s just one last step: you need to authorize SN to automatically debit your wallet. To do that, you’ll have to create a debit rule in ShockWallet. Open your ShockWallet so you can receive notifications. Send a 1000 sats ZAP on this post. Ahahah

Then jump back to ShockWallet, within a few seconds, you’ll get a notification about a debit attempt.

Tap “Allow”, set up the debit rule, and then hit “Save”.

And that’s it, you’re ready to send and receive sats with no more hassle!
