Purely stats wise Darnold had a better year in Minnesota than in Seattle. He did lead the league in turnovers this year but clearly the Seahawks were able to get him over the big game yips and give him enough support that he didn't need to be the star to win games.

It also says something that they let their GM go

I do, too. Pretty much the whole league believed he had reached his ceiling. And maybe he had, but Seattle was able to do more with it than Minnesota was

I get why they moved off Darnold. He blew the last two games of the year but they should have at least brought in a capable veteran.
