Ahh right. That is the correct terminlogy. I see Blue Wallet supports this. I guess, the question is, will it notify me :)

Yes if you configure the app to show notifications. As watch-only mobile apps, you have also Sentinel, Electrum, Nunchuck. For desktop you have Sparrow, Specter, Electrum, Bluewallet (only macOS), Nunchuck.

Thanks. Sentinel looks very promising - read the QR code to xpub fine and showing transactions.
Couldn't get these 2 to work:
  • Electrum (scans my QR code, but then it won't let me continue - Next button greyed out - perhaps not working with xpub?)
  • Nunchuck (QR reader not even recognizing my qr code)
