The default mode on Alby supports stablecoins (CBDCs). What a disgrace.

Alby should reconsider this change. If Bitcoin maxis leave the ship, it will be challenging for them to onboard the crypto people because they've never heard about Alby.

Why not leverage the faithful active user base?

Do you really don't link a link that makes it easier for people to swap shitcoins?
The barrier for people who have shitcoins(incl. stablecoins) to use bitcoin should be low. For them to get on bitcoin.
Or what problem do you see there?
