Please learn more about Bitcoin before saying such things.

1. Lightning Pub is not a full node, Is a personal node running in neutrino mode.
2. Even if you run a full bitcoin node, ion order to "help community" must comply some requirements. Just because you run it and have a copy of the blockchain it doesn't mean you help somebody. You help yourself. That's it.

Running a node is a great way to learn more about how Bitcoin actually works though!

Yes I agree with that. But run it, learn, experiment, accumulate knowledge and don't say stupid things just because now you run a node.
