it would be nice to be able to merge posts into a megathread
I know this website is already incredibly feature rich for a small user base. But megathreads would be nice to counter duplicates
(didn't think this merging suggestion through yet, but just pinging you in case you think this is something worth thinking about or there is a technical reason not to)
I want this too. The problem is specification. How exactly should it work?
- IMO merging should not be a unilateral decision, so OPs need to coordinate, which means OP's need to request and approve merges from each other.
- How to display merged threads? Whose title/text is displayed first? Perhaps the merge request involves proposing the new merge post title/text?
