Absolutely hilarious watching the American Bankers convention
The panelists were sitting up on the stage saying that stablecoins and defi is 'quite frankly unacceptable'
Also, obviously I'm just outlining the bare faced cheek of bankers getting butt hurt that technology has highlighted their scam and they want to stop anyone else muscling in on their turf
Now we're all Bitcoiners right! So we don't concern ourselves with the likes of these thingsNow we're all Bitcoiners right! So we don't concern ourselves with the likes of these things
But I was thinking about the analogy, where....
The (bankers) try to tiptoe past the sleeping lion (the people) and they accidentally tread on a branch (the people start to notice the banks have been scamming the people for decades) the lion wakes up and eats them (massive adoption of stablecoins)
I'm looking at the absolutely massive valuations of some of these stablecoins and I'm thinking about the billions of people who are totally asleep regarding money
These firms could finance huge marketing campaigns through social media to wake up the masses, informing them that they have been scammed by the banks, and all they have to do is sign up to xyz firm to switch their finances from bank to [insert stablecoin company] a quick online registration and boom 💥 they're onboard
It seems all of this hinges on the Genius act, the wider political implications of blue vs red and the inevitably of technology
We as Bitcoiners are a level above all of this, we understand the centralization of stablecoins vs Bitcoin but the people don'tWe as Bitcoiners are a level above all of this, we understand the centralization of stablecoins vs Bitcoin but the people don't
And we have seen that self custody, self sovereignty and learning 'what is money' is difficult
Maybe the shift towards stablecoins is what the public needs because it moves them closer to Bitcoin in that, they leave the legacy banking system, become comfortable with a digital economy and it's only natural that some people who become more awake will see Bitcoin
Currently it's too much of a leap from where they are to get here, plus remember that the legacy banks have spent many years constructing a negative view of Bitcoin in the public's psyche
Well, if the public were to wake up and realise the banks were untrustworthy, maybe they'd question whether the Bitcoin fud was also fabricated?
Maybe a bad analogy but most heroin addicts start by smoking dope, then move on to cocaïne, crack etc and eventually the brown
Well I suggest loosely that Bitcoin is like heroin.....no im joking 😅 🙃 🤣
But you see my point, you can't just go on a computer and code up a website, first of all you need training and experience and expertise.....wait, ok bad analogy 🤦
Bitcoin is like heroin in the sense that heroin is the one opiate everybody knows and talks about, but never uses! LMAO you walked into that one
🤦🤣
bankers loved crypto from the start - they talk about it amongst each other all the time, especially at finance conferences;
however, their evil scheme cannot be pushed unto the population immediately - people have to desire the thing first with sparkle in the eyes;
anyways, the subjects get lured into shitcoins, conditioned to gamble, to lose money then beg for bailout, then they get offered a surveillance token, and then it's basically over - the way out of the matrix wud be to walk thru the woods or swim across a channel in order to find bitcoin-homesteaders;
obviously bitcoin is not like fiatanyl (play on the word fentanyl), it offers a psychodelic (mind-clearing) experience; in order words - a portal out of fiat-based mind control;
