Can the Venezuelans pull off the upset or will the Dream Team finish the job?

Anyone watching?

Venezuela!

reply

congrats. They played very well.

reply

Team USA is flat.

reply

Not very eventful

reply

If Team USA loses Aaron Judge is the Connor McDavid of baseball.

reply

Except that he’s sucked every time I’ve seen him bat

reply

Grounded out on a ball he should have hit 500ft.

reply

I missed that one. I've only seen him strike out.

reply

I hope Spencer costs you a Super Bowl too. I like him. He is useful. But I can never forgive him.

reply

They just need more real NFL players to compete for those spots. Drafting another guard should still be a priority, just a slightly less urgent one now.

reply

Burford is useful he plays all over the line. He was our swing tackle and started some at LG. He filled in at RG in the Super Bowl after Feliciano got hurt and he forgot to block Chris Jones on third down and Purdy didn’t have enough time to get the ball to a wide open Aiyuk in the endzone.

reply

Forgetting to block the other team's best player has been a staple of our line. He should feel right at home.

US bats making a pitcher who has been pretty terrible the last two seasons look amazing.

I know close to nothing about baseball but the lineup is like dream team right?

Could it be better? Level of embarrassment:

O/U canada hockey performance? 😂

reply

At least Canada played well

reply

US lineup was shockingly flat. 3 hits for what is pretty much an all star team hitting against MLB level pitchers but not elite guys.

reply

Worked as a charm for USA

reply

Pretty embarrassing but it’s baseball. Venezuela is a good team and anything can happen in one game in baseball. I think US would win this game 8/10 times but not tonight.

reply

Monroe Doctrine wins again!

reply

The pundit of Brazil's broadcast saying USA did not understand how relevant this is for other countries, took it lightly

Actually feels that way the bleachers seem mostly Latinos

US bats not doing much so far.

Despite a star-studded American lineup featuring MVPs like Aaron Judge and Bryce Harper, the Venezuelan team held the lead for most of the game at loanDepot Park in Miami.
